As a Sales Associate, you would be a part of the Store team and sell products to the customers. Sales Associate would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities:
1. Sales
• Engage with customers and assist their chocolates, cakes, pastries, floral or any other food needs and questions
• Provide accurate product information to the customer
• Provide exceptional customer service by upselling and cross-selling
• Handle cash register and transactions in an effective and accurate manner
• Inform customers about discounts or special offers in the store
• Make suggestions and encourage purchase of products
2. Customer Service
• Greet customers and offer assistance
• Model “Customer first” behavior and show excellent customer service
• Follow up on customer requests
• Provide customer feedback to the store manager
• Describe product features flavor, ingredients, etc.
• Stay up-to-date with the new products/services
• Work in-tandem with other associates in the store
3. Supplies & Storage
• Manage storage and inventory
• Requisition of new stock in the store
• Participate in the storage of products on the shelves and ensure racks are stocked well
• Report damage or loss of goods to the supervisor
• Verify product labelling
Skills & abilities required:
• Excellent understanding of chocolates, cakes, pastries and flowers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with the customers
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team driven environment
• Experience and success in equivalent jobs
• Experience and knowledge in the Middle East Market
